If you are a fan of the Fallout games, ATOM RPG is a great game that will ignite your nostalgic feelings for the franchise. There’s also a great overarching plot that you’ll get to discover as you continue to play. Be prepared to slog through a lot of conversations with NPCs to progress through the game. One massive difference ATOM RPG has from other survival games is that it’s very story driven. ATOM RPG also has combat, although unlike most post-apocalyptic games, ATOM RPG’s combat is turn-based rather than real time. As you progress, you’ll also be able to level up skills and abilities to make certain tasks easier. There’s a lot of exploring involved in the game, and like many exploration and survival games, you have to interact with your environment to find useful things to add to your inventory. Now, you have to explore this wasteland, meeting new people and finding new equipment in the process. In ATOM RPG, the Soviet Union and the Western European powers both tried to destroy each other with their nuclear warheads and this resulted in a barren wasteland. Although we know now that the nuclear warfare that we feared will never come to pass, ATOM RPG presents a world where it did.
